News from Mexico City!!!!

Hey All,

This week went good!  I was transferred and I'm now in the Zone Los Reyes.  Its the biggest zone in the mission and my area is HUGE.  My new companion is Elder Giron from Ecuador. He has been out for 23 months in the mission and goes home next month.  We get along great. i did get relived of my district leader position but that only happened so they could make a zone leader.  I'm excited for the new adventure and  I will finish my mission here.  We are working hard and we have seen so many miracles this week.  Honestly, its going really good.  My companion is a baller and we work really good together with success. The lord is working miracles in our area.

News from Mexico City

Hey what's going on everyone?

Hope things are going great!

Well I am training my new companion. He is Elder Paulino. He comes from the Dominican Republic. He speaks with a heavy accent and even most of the people don't understand a word he says. He uses a lot of different words so I sometimes have a hard time understanding him. He's 18, cool, and pretty homesick right now.  He has a great attitude and wants to work.  I am enjoying this time with him.

We had an amazing thing happen on Saturday. We were walking down the street and decided to speak with people we have met. I saw a girl in the street so we walked over to her.  She had a handcart and was carrying a huge refrigerator. She looked tired and with tears in her eyes and wanted to give up carrying it. When I saw her I had desire to help.  My companion and I asked if we could help her.  With a sigh of relief she said, “yes”.  We started walking  with her.  She said that many people walked by her watching her cry.  No would help not even grown men.  Lots of people who physically able could have helped, but didn't.  She said we were angels from God.  As we walked we started to ask some questions. After only 5 minutes of knowing her, she tells us that we earned her confidence.  She opened up to us and told us she wants to kill herself and that she has a lot of hard things going on in her life. I started thinking of the story of the Good Samaritan,  but then I understood she opened up because she realized we were Representatives of Jesus Christ. We have an appointment with her.  After we left,  I started to think and was reminded of things that I have been promised.  It was amazing.  I was so happy I had the desire to help her,  because honestly lots of times I see people never stick out a hand.  I am glad God has confidence in me and in that moment to let me see that miracle. That has been something really cool that I saw this week and I hope I have more experiences like that.

Have a great week!

love ya
