Hey Everyone,
How is everyone doing?
I have attached pictures for you this time! This week was alright. We have an investigator that wants to get baptized next Sunday after the services of the church!!!! We are trying to find more people to teach. We are knocking on doors. I actually don’t mind it to much. Teaching is more fun.
I want to share an "interesting" experience we had this week. We had an appointment with a part member family we are teaching. The mother of the home isn’t a member. She doesn’t want anything to do with the church. Her son is 14 and is member of our church. We were asked to have family home evening with them once a week. The mother asked us asked us to talk on Gifts from the Holy Ghost. She was interested in gifts of tongues and other stuff like that. Well you could say...not even a joke… the lesson was a lesson with the devil. NO LIE! He was talking not her. She told us she practices witch craft and has the gift to heal. Then she attacked my companions testimony. No lie ATTACKED his testimony and attacked him. It was the craziest experience, because, you could feel Satan in the room. When we left we tried to leave her with a chapter in the Book of Mormon. She told us she would never read this book, because, she prayed and does witchcraft to know if she could read it. She said she had a dream that angels and the book were with her. She opened the book. She saw the devil and he said she couldn't read it. She said, it was a scary dream. So I asked her if she was really scared. She said, yes it was. I then told was like god doesn't work like that. He gives us good feelings. Would you agree? She said, well, yes. So, I said, if you felt bad you understand it came from the devil. She said, I KNOW. I said, so it wasn't an answer from god that you couldn't read this book. She said I know it wasn't an answer from him and I WILL NEVER READ IT! We then left. No lie it was a very scary experience. Satan attacked my companion and you could feel it was from him.
